Lo Spazio Abitato
The municipality of Arezzo in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Entertainment, have organized a series of three events entitled Incontemporanea with the aim of promoting young artistic talents in the area. Before these exhibitions is Elisa Zadi's personal "Lo spazio inhabited" curated by art critic and historian Daniela Meli, which will open on Saturday 31 March at 6 pm in Palazzo Chianini-Vincenzi in Arezzo. Zadi has recreated an installation that leads the viewer to everyday and intimate places in a home, through a large series of paintings. In fact, in the first room of the exhibition we are greeted by large semi-open painted doors (Polyptych of the other light) that represent time in the different phases of the day as well as of life, inviting us not only to the entrance of the exhibition but also to the immersion of what will be a time travel of the everyday. In the rooms that follow one another we find paintings of figures, glimpses of interiors and objects of common use that alternate to welcome us and guide us in places with an intrinsic atmosphere, which turn out to be the artistic research of Zadi, who with this exhibition seems to invite us to take part in it, becoming ourselves presences of that dimension. The large-format figures are admirable, revealing a combination of technical knowledge and psychological investigation of the subject (Frammenti 1, Frammenti 2) and the large still lifes, traces of human presence recorded through objects arranged or abandoned in space (Arte mi sia).
